Everyone's personal mission - La missione personale di ognuno

.... I can not fail to make some reflections after the bloody facts that more and more punctuate the daily news. Human society seems destined for disintegration and self-destruction. The forces of "good", that is the awareness of the unity of life, seem not to have sufficient strength to change the ruinous course of things that precipitate around us, and in us ...

We must not give up, the hope of success lies in our perseverance and courage in dealing with the contingencies. On the other hand, humanity has also experienced dramatic moments in the past, yet life and evolution have gone on.

As a carver slowly chisels a piece of wood to obtain a sculpture, so we continually perfect the work while we live. When a part of the work is completed, a sense of fulfillment is felt, but then we continue to work on another aspect of our person. According to the evolutionist theory we proceed through an ascending and infinite spiral in the context of a universal process. In I Ching it is called "constancy in mutation". a personal mission then takes place during the whole existence. ...

Therefore, despite the harshness of the times, we do not give up in our battle "for a community consciousness" ... The beauty of ecological syncretism is that we must (and can) have the courage to live with those who think differently from us, in awareness that ideas are only images that appear in the mind and therefore can not become sufficient reason for division within the human community.

And here I bring back some thoughts from "Things I learned in life" by Paulo Coelho:

- That no matter how good a person is, he will hurt you from time to time. And for this, it will be necessary that you forgive her.

- That takes years to build trust and only a few seconds to destroy it.

- That we do not have to change friends, if we understand that friends change.

- That circumstances and the environment have influence on us, but we are responsible for ourselves.

In this sentence are expressed some concepts that excite the awareness that none of us can be split or estranged from the society in which we live. The fact is that each of us is subject to changes in judgment and things necessarily change, so to fossilize oneself on a position is not wise.

At the same time it is correct and right for everyone to express their opinion, but these opinions - in my opinion - should not be enough reason for separation and division in the human context.

La missione personale di ognuno

Testo italiano:
