The one who seeks is the searched ... - Colui che cerca è il cercato…

Risultati immagini per The one who seeks is the searched ... - Colui che cerca è il cercato…

Awakening can not be induced in others with words, that Awakening in which the "Self" is recognized in itself, being as it really is, complete, pure, real, perfect, without fear and without desires.

But "tending towards" can not be "helped" by repressing fears and desires. The disappearance of fears and desires must occur spontaneously, when discovering and loving our true Self, we are no longer afraid of anything and we no longer have any desires.

Thus without supporting trials or feeling stressed we can follow the two paths: that of love towards the outside and that of knowledge towards the inside. What then I am only one.

Accompanying us along the path with "the others", all the others, who are part of us.

By understanding ourselves and by knowing ourselves, we know and understand others, and by knowing others we understand ourselves, in dark and luminous moments, and we can reflect and make others "reflect" in us.

We can safely ignore our ego, which always leads us to oppose ourselves, to differentiate ourselves, to put ourselves in contraposition with what we blindly see different, but which is part of the same One. Sometimes the ego is unmasked and then a loud laugh comes out of the heart: I discovered you! Even though he is often still there to take, unmotivately and maliciously, his space again.

Everyone plays his part in the game of Consciousness. And when we come to know each other and accept ourselves completely, our actions are in tune with the circumstances but they have no particular purpose, we do not need to fight against someone, we can love ourselves indefinitely and unconditionally  and  the rest of the world as well. Showing our true qualities, without fear of consequences and without expectations of results.

Life is a game in which playing one's part is essential.

The evolution would proceed like this and it can proceed in this way not only by trial and error, but through that intuitive awareness, which pulls the whole cellular and mental body forward ... ..

Complementarity leads to equilibrium, to the clear vision of the two aspects, to spirit and matter, to darkness and light, to motion and inertia, to the understanding that we are all united and, as the wise man says: "pain and pleasure they are the ridges and dips in the ocean of bliss. Deep there is absolute fullness "(Nisargadatta Maharaj)

Intelligence and consciousness are present in every living form .. - Intelligenza e coscienza sono presenti in ogni forma vivente…

The concept of spirituality is an attribution of human character. It is said that only man is able to experience self-consciousness and discriminative and rational intelligence. This ability can also be called "spirit" ...
At the same time since there is no such thing on this earth and in the universe, which can be said to be separate - as everything is manifested in the totality of the "whole" - and life itself is inseparable in its various manifestations, manifesting common roots in all its forms, of any kind and nature, we can guess that the characteristic of "consciousness-intelligence" is present in every living element, which demonstrates birth, growth and death, be it in different degrees.

Let's take the example of growth in "intelligence and conscience" as it happens in man. Starting from its formation as a union of spermatozoon and ovum, passing through its embryonic phase, the complete formation of the organs, the exit from the womb, at the beginning of its capacity for learning and discernment ... through various evolutionary moments which apparently differ in quality - however they represent a growth of the same subject.

If this happens in man, why not hypothesize that it can take place in every other vital form, even on a differentiated and different quality scale?

If we accept this premise as a presupposition of sharing the same quality of "consciousness and intelligence", then suddenly we can recognize in all that which is alive the "spiritual" quality ...

But  not to be understood in a religious sense ... that is an assumption that it is not
of concerns to us, laymen and ecologists. No, we recognize the "spirit" as the capacity of life to express itself in energy forms with consciousness ... and here we can stop ...

Then, from a poetic and emotional point of view, why not describe the life of a tree as a spiritual expression of nature? What's wrong ...

Undeniably even a tree is alive and expresses itself through its biological functions and manifests desires and repulsions, like us humans ....

Testo italiano

Flowing in the great existence's flow - Scorrere nel grande flusso dell'esistenza

Risultati immagini per evolution of consciousness

The question is "does free will exist or does there exist only a predetermined destiny?". According to Ramana Maharshi, all that we live is established from the moment of birth, our freedom lies only in feeling involved or not, reacting with desires or repulsions towards the experience "in progress"

Desires and repulsions produce thought forms that are subsequently projected into other "incarnations" (not particularly meaning incarnations of the same entity). In short, these thought forms produce new names and new forms that seek completion. It is a spontaneous mechanism of the evolution of consciousness in space time.

However - always mentioning Ramana Maharshi: "from the point of view of the Self (absolute impersonal Consciousness) there is no progress or regression but from the point of view of the mind evolution is continuous."

And in truth if we take a detached attitude, letting ourselves flow into the great evolutionary flow, it does not mean that our predispositions can not interact with situations. The detachment  allows a better performance. But even this attitude is somehow "determined" by the ongoing evolutionary process. This is why in the Book of Changes (I Ching) the two  tendencies: the involutionary (the way of the ignoble) and evolutionary (the way of the nobles) are distinguished as indicators of the level of adherence to reality.

And life is enjoyed when there is no repulsion or desire but when one pursues one's own nature with satisfaction and innocence.

Testo italiano

Bioregionalism, deep ecology and relationship between man, nature and animal - Bioregionalismo, ecologia profonda e rapporto uomo natura animali

Human intervention in an attempt to "adjust" the presence of life  in nature  has become so heavy as to endanger human existence itself. In fact, control over other species also involves humans, who are not separated from the animal world.

The rules of life are very simple, each species both plant and animal has a mutual interrelation with its habitat and with all the species that share it. Plants need animals for their reproduction and propagation, herbivores are controlled by carnivores and so a balance is maintained between environment and its inhabitants.

But where man is intervention immediately this balance has been lost. We have seen this with the increase of desertification of North Africa and the Middle East caused by an exaggerated  growth in domestic breeding and transhumance. This more the hunting habit towards species considered harmful or - to the contrary - useful to the human economy have transformed so much the habitat to make it unrecognizable ... All this in the past happened almost imperceptibly, since the events described above they lasted for long periods of time, centuries, if not millennia, and it was quite difficult for man to recognize its effects (related to his behavior).

The current situation is very different. Today, human intervention has an almost immediate consequence and one can not help but consider the causes - as well as the closely interconnected effects - of environmental changes in progress. Where man intervenes immediately nature and life recede ..

Even where man tries to make up for the ills of his work there too he combines worse woes. We have seen this, for example, with the policy of the artificial repopulation of faunal species that disappeared in a given bioregion and recovered in other places on the planet to be re-introduced. This environmental recovery policy is indeed deleterious. The damage caused to the habitat by the introduction of non-native species is enormous. So much so that, from time to time, with the excuse of overpopulation, we invent shoots for the containment of these species.

Actually my impression is that this environmental policy is only functional to other interests ... that are not those of nature. Nature, if left to itself, always finds a way to harmonize itself, creating a swing of presences between predated species and predatory species  but where man intervenes, chaos appears ... But it is impossible that nature is left to herself, man should disappear.

The human species has increased numerically and has no predators, nor the large epidemics that centuries ago decimated the population, and to feed all these people, carnivores or vegetarians, however, leads to an alteration of the natural habitat.

From time to time decisions by various institutions are issued to bring down a certain number of wild animals declared "in excess" in a certain area. Deer, roe deer, wild boar... etc. This fact causes every time a media and political fuss, extrinsic in the game of the parties. That is the antagonism between hunting associations on the one hand and animalist associations on the other, with institutions in the middle trying to satisfy both, knowing that it is all fiction and that the wildness and defense of life or the right to hunting they are only functional to the expected income (tourism or meat, or both).

The truth is that the "wild" have been "placed" on the territory not for their own good but for speculative purposes, they are not dissimilar from goats, sheep, pigs, etc. bred by humans. But how to make a reasonable speech with so many guys talking? The fact is that you have to be very careful about the number of ungulates or warthogs that graze in a territory, this not only in the case of crude man-made defenses, but also for the wild pseudo that are introduced, these beasts are not today subject to natural crippling caused by predators. Here in Italy the wolf, the lynx and the bear are practically extinct and in the woods the roe deer or the deer have no natural enemies that limit their proliferation, so "must" resort to hunting.

And the deterioration in the relationship between man and animals leads to the deterioration in the relationship between humans and the habitat, this game of the parts damages all citizens and nature itself that is continually manipulated for and against this and that. In short, a business pretext in a society that does not consider the animal differently from any surplus-value.

I personally am a vegetarian but I am also an ecologist and therefore I am not in favor of the introduction of new species in nature, and this is why I believe that hunting should be completely banned in Italy for the simple fact that it is a useless "vicious" exercise absolutely harmful.

For hunting is not a free and natural activity but a kind of game of repopulation and killing, a sadistic and cruel fun. But even rearing cattle and poultry should be rethought. Only allowing it to be in the wild or semi-wild and limiting the number of animals in consideration of how many can live on pasture in a given fund, thus rebalancing the cyclicity of the animal presence with the agricultural use of the territory.

Ritorno all'habitat originario?

Testo italiano:

Accept yourself to be yourself ... - Accettati per essere te stesso…

"Master is he who leads you to be your own Teacher!" (Saul Arpino)

Ramana Maharshi said: "Know your mind, not to be cheated by the mind". See how many images appear in a dream, how many characters who seek and escape, who love and hate each other? But the dreamer is only one...

To awaken to yourself, from any point or identity you recognize in the dream, accept that, stop at that and from there observe and discover the observer. Do not wait  deceiving yourself that you can wake up being someone else, a more prepared or nicer character ... Whoever is the dream character you find yourself in, accept it.

Osho said: "Accepting ourselves whoever we are is the basis for spiritual awakening". In fact, accepting does not mean renouncing one's growth, rather it means that we accept to grow starting from what we are. In this way growth will not be a choice but a spontaneous movement. It is the flowering of the intrinsic perfection that finds an expressive form, without effort, without anger or frustration, without sacrifice, without the use of memory, without expiation, without hope...

Can you then tell me where is the suffering, that self-control, that has accompanied your research so far? Where is the projective utility of the self seeking itself? How many are the "I" in you? Where is that one who seeks and the other who is sought? Where are the lives spent trudging towards perfection and where are those future lives to complete it? What does it mean "I am young, I am old, I am male, I am a female"? Are you not present here and now, pure consciousness, beyond any external distinction? And you will always be!

Listen, you are always, absolutely, and anyone in your dream says something sensible, you say it. Recognize that message as yours, look at the moon and leave aside your finger, discover the essence and do not be deceived by the reflection...

Testo italiano:

Importance of spiritual awakening and steady realization of the Self - Importanza del risveglio spirituale e stabile realizzazione del Sé

Risultati immagini per la realtà del Sé

Once the Awakening is achieved, and having an experience of the Self, what happens is that our spirit (or Consciousness) perceives the truth about one's being. If this shining moment of illumination occurs in a mind totally purified by innate tendencies and regressed desires and fears, it brings back the self to the Self and the overcoming of all dualism: "I am what I am and that I have always been and will always be" .

This experience, if definitive, can be called "Realization" and we can have a concrete example of it by reading what happened to Ramana Maharshi, when he steadily merged in the Self. If the seeker's mind - instead - still retains layers of hidden ignorance, vasanas and unexpressed  samskaras, here with the Awakening begins a process of expulsion of these obscuring factors. We can not know how they are encysted in our soul and how much it is necessary to dig into the unconscious in order to bring them to the surface and then eliminate them, but rest assured that the thing happens spontaneously, following the "Grace received". This process can sometimes be painful and may well be called "the dark night of the soul". But if you do not lose your self-confidence and in your teacher, and you persevere in the search with constancy, sincerity and honesty, then the process will be like any other "dark night that will pass" ... and then it is not then so serious. Love and devotion to the ideal offer a great help ..

In fact identifying oneself with a specific name form does not correspond absolutely to the truth and moreover if one identifies oneself with the "person" one can not but assume its merits and defects, to accept its nuances and stains, but  are we  Arlecchino or Pulcinella ?

In truth "I" (as consciousness )  observe the character that only through my conscious observation can manifest itself. I do not judge him, I love him as I love anyone who enters my conscious sphere.

The experience of the ultimate state, of the consciousness free from identification, is exhibited in various spiritual schools such as: Satori, Holy Spirit, Samadhi, Shaktipat, etc. Usually it is meant that this experience of "awakening" to one's nature is due to a particular condition of openness in which the "grace" of the Self (pure Consciousness) can manifest itself and impart the knowledge of what we have always been and always will be . Unfortunately, due to the accumulation of "vasana" mental tendencies, the lived experience does not always stabilize in permanent realization.

The awakening therefore does not correspond to the realization (or only in rare cases of full spiritual maturity). And here we are faced with a paradox, on the one hand there is the unequivocal awareness of the ultimate state that can never be canceled, on the other a partial obscuring of this truth following the residual activity of the vasanas which continue to operate in the mind of the seeker ...

Once revealed knowledge takes time to stabilize. The Self is certainly within the direct experience of everyone, but not as one can imagine, it is simply what it is. This "experience" is called samadhi. But due to the fluctuation of the mind, knowledge requires practice to stabilize.

So the job of the seeker consists in the elimination of the vasana. A great help in this cleaning work - as Ramana Maharshi affirmed - results in being in the vicinity of a realized saint, so the vasanas cease to be active, the mind becomes quiet and samadhi occurs. In this way the seeker obtains a correct experience in the presence of the teacher.

A practice to keep the awareness of the Self (Noumenon or real subject) fixed is the questioning of "who am I?", And if thoughts arise during the self-investigation, one should ask oneself "to whom arise these thoughts?" . In this way it will be possible to remain as long as possible on the sense of presence, without giving an objective identification to this pure subjective identity.

To maintain this experience stably, an effort is necessary and finally the seeker will know his true nature even in the midst of everyday life. this is the state that lies beyond our effort or lack of effort.

Hence the importance of the "awakening" for which, once tasted the "joy of the Self", the seeker can not help but turn to this repeatedly trying to regain it.

Once you have experienced the joy of peace, nobody will want to turn to some other research.

Paolo D'Arpini

Risultati immagini per realizzazione del Sé

Testo italiano

The process of manifestation through which the One becomes many - Il processo della manifestazione attraverso il quale l'Uno diventa molti

Speculating on the creation of the world, from the One to many, it   is not a matter of importance  for the  knower of Truth ...

The sages advaitins, not dualists, who do not consider the observer as separate or different from the observed and the observation, or in other words the individual ego, the world and God, hardly waste time describing the unfolding of creation in space time. For these sages everything is in the eternal "present", in the here and now, and the illusion of evolving from the past into the future is considered a mere hallucination, a mental image that does not deserve particular explanation. "Added knowledge" is defined  the knowledge of the manifestation process, a sort of anecdotal fable that has no value from the point of view of ultimate Truth.

Yet, as a result of a dialogative speech, in which even "trivial" aspects of knowledge are examined, it has sometimes happened that even sages of the bulk of Ramana Maharshi or Nisargadatta Maharaj "wasted time" describing the formative process of existence and of  the manifest  world. In the time closest to us, when Nisargadatta was still alive, that is until 1981, electric magnetophones already existed and therefore the transcription of informal or formal dialogues was easy to gather and summarize,  in those  the sage, answering the questions of some researchers, explained the manifestative modes of consciousness / energy as its aspects unfolded in various forms ... His words were recorded in tapes and then transliterated, a patient work but with a solid base of reference.

At the time of Ramana Maharshi, who left the body in 1950, instead it was not possible to use technical equipment, all his sayings were reported by devotees who attended his speeches, however such transcripts are reliable because Ramana was always asked to confirm the text before final printing. In this context we must be particularly grateful to the devout Telgu of birth (native of Andra Pradesh), Sri Munagala S. Venkataramiah, who in the space of 5 years (1935-1939) collected several sayings of Ramana Maharshi uttered during various meetings held in  the Ashram of Tiruvannamalai.

In particular, for the purpose of an empirical understanding of the manifestative process, I found an explanation held on January 7, 1937 (Talks) that is particularly significant, it refers to strophe n. 6 of Arunachala Ashtaka. In this stanza the small point = ego is analyzed; the small point composed of darkness = the ego consisting of latent tendencies; the observer or subject or ego that rises expands itself in the form of what is seen, the object and the internal organ of perception. The reflected light operating in the mind must be suffused for this ego to arise. In the middle of the day a rope can not be mistaken for a snake. The rope itself can not even be seen if there is a thick darkness so that there is no possibility of exchanging it for a snake. Only in a weak or soft light can the mistake of exchanging a rope for a snake happen.

The same thing happens for the Pure and Radiant Being that emerges as "I am", this is possible only in a light surrounded by darkness. This darkness is otherwise known as Primitive Ignorance (or Original Sin). The light that shines through this ignorance is called "Reflected Light". This Reflected Light is known as Ishwara or God. It is well known that the manifestation of Ishwara occurs through Maya (his power of Illusion). The other name in which this Power is called is "Pure Mind", or Satva quality, this implies that there is also an "impure mind" and this is represented by the ego, which is a next step in the reflection of the Light of  Supreme Consciousness  through the Rajas, or active quality of the mind.

Finally, the external or material aspect of the manifestation arises, through the quality Tamas, or inertia, which manifests itself in the form of the internal organs of perception and their external objects.

From the physiological point of view it can be said that this process of outsourcing proceeds through the brain. The different states of waking, dream and deep sleep therefore originate from that ignorance of  "Self", with the mind that turns to the outside (through the projective process of the mental apparatus) experiencing the condition of waking and dreaming and withdrawing into the deep sleep in a state of latency. All these of course are only "phenomena" that appear through the Reflected Light on the Substrate of Existence and Absolute Awareness of the self-luminous Self.

So the world can not be "independent" of its Source, and that is how the One Being becomes many. The Power that manifests this Game of Existence is really great! And the realization of one's original Nature is the joyful purpose of life.

The limit of ethics - Il limite dell'etica

Risultati immagini per Il limite dell'etica

Ethics belongs to reasoning and thus to the logical mind that provides pre-established responses based on past experiences (conscious and subconscious) while happiness is connaturated in the unconscious and resides in the analog mind.

Man, like all other animals, is happy to live for his own natural disposition.

Let's see what say  recent  scientific studies, defined ‘Brain imaging',  which allow  to see which parts of the brain function specially during certain thoughts, words, and actions. From these 'brain maps' it turns out that rational thinking and language activate in most cases the left hemisphere, which is similar to a computer, as it accumulates memory data and repeats them on request. The right part of the brain is activated by music, from the non-verbal language, which is made of intonations of voice, looks, gestures, facial mimicry, etc. and creativity, which is the original combination of elements present in nature ...

Unfortunately, in modern society, especially as a result of the dominance of rationalist science (and maschilist culture), the supreme judgment of the mind has taken over, from which the great affirmation of monotheistic religions and the arrogance of use to other creatures and of nature (in this sense is illuminated the reading of "The Limit of the Utility" of Battaille).

I make a concrete example. At first superficial analysis it may seem strange that even so-called animal fondness (animalism) and subsequent acceptance of veganism are the result of reasoning (and not a spontaneous response to solidarity with other species). To be honest, despite animalism and veganism stand in opposition (apparent) with male chauvinist and patriarchal overtones, in reality they are a counterpart of these . Because their  opposition  is based on the   considetation  of  an hypothetical intellectual  and ideological superiority.

In Hua Hu Ching it is said: "Other common beings often require tolerance. For integral beings there is no such thing as tolerance, because there is no such thing as the others. They have renounced all ideas of individuality and expanded the their good will without prejudice in any direction, not hating, not resisting, not contesting, loving, hating, having expectations: all of these are attachments, attachment prevents the growth of their true being, therefore integral being is not attached to anything  and can relate to everyone with an unstructured attitude. "

In Taoism, which is not really a religion and not even a philosophy, but a form of naturalism lived without emphasis (we may call it a kind of deep ecology ante litteram), it is indicated to abstain from excesses, whether positive or negative, as a natural behavior of life.  You understand good and evil but do not like either one or the other. Good (yang) and evil (Yin) are the two aspects of the manifestation of existence on this earth. It is for this reason that the Taoists ridiculed  the good Confucius which,  as a convinced  rationalist,  advocated  social and political ethics, while they were confined to remaining in their original nature. Respecting natural propensities, not those acquired for utilitarian convenience or moralistic deviation ....

Happiness is our true nature and pursuit of happiness is just one way to obscure and hide it. In fact, in an ancient popular proverb we say "The best is the enemy of good" ... because by pursuing the hypothetical better, you do not live the good that is at your fingertips. It also proves at the legislative level the continued introduction of laws in society that make justice more and more crappy and impractical.

Perhaps the fantastic and the poetic should be  rediscovered even in our social and productive lives. That poeticity, which in the ancient  times characterizes the questioning of man about the real and the meaning of his own experiences, is a significant spark of an ORIGINAL CONCORD between the spontaneous acceptance of the other (not as a consequence of an ethics injunction) and the innate happiness.

It is necessary to overcome the gap  that has almost  become a gangrenous  conflict between poetry and rhetoric, re-thinking the knowledge  that joy is only  the result of an "ethical" attitude, indeed it is through the "moralistic" rationality that it is forgotten and obliterated.

Testo italiano
